Accessibility statement
How accessible the Intervention Hub is, what we know is not right, and how to tell us.
This statement applies to the Intervention Hub at intervention-hub.com. The service is run by Red Snapper Group. It delivers online behaviour change programmes for police forces, probation services and other referring organisations.
The statement covers the pages a service user sees and the pages a referring organisation uses. It does not cover the staff administration area, which is used only by Red Snapper Group employees.
Using this service
We have built the service so that as many people as possible can use it. That means you should be able to:
- change colours and contrast levels using your browser or your device
- turn on our own high contrast setting from the account menu
- zoom in to 400 per cent without the text running off the screen
- move through the service using only a keyboard
- listen to the service using a screen reader
- read the interface in your own language, using the language chooser
AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.
How accessible this service is
We believe this service is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard. The problems we know about are listed below.
What we know is not right
- In the standard colour scheme, the outline of a form field is lighter than the guidelines ask for. The field is still named by its label, and turning on high contrast from the account menu gives a stronger outline, a larger focus ring and darker text throughout. We are keeping the standard scheme under review.
- The course itself opens inside the page and is produced in separate authoring software. We have not yet assessed each course against the standard, so parts of a course may not meet it.
- Screen reader testing so far has been limited to spot checks on the registration form. A fuller test will be carried out before the service goes live.
Feedback and contact information
Tell us if you need information in a different format, such as large print, an easy read version or an audio recording. Email hubportal@intervention-hub.com. We will reply within five working days.
If you find a problem that is not listed on this page, or you think we are not meeting the standard, write to the same address. Tell us the page you were on and what went wrong. That helps us fix it faster. If you are not happy with our reply, ask for the complaint to be escalated and it will be passed to the service manager.
Enforcement procedure
The Equality and Human Rights Commission enforces the accessibility regulations. If you are not happy with how we answer your complaint, contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service.
Technical information about this service's accessibility
Red Snapper Group is committed to making this service accessible, in line with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. This service is partially compliant with the WCAG 2.2 AA standard, because of the problems listed above.
How we tested this service
We tested the service ourselves on 6 September 2026. It has not been audited by an external organisation.
The test covered the pages a service user sees and the pages a referring organisation uses:
- the registration form and the pages that follow it
- the sign in, password and account pages
- the learner dashboard, the course page and the assessment
- the referral list, the referral forms and the learner record used by client staff
We tested in two ways:
- a review of the page code and the stylesheet against every WCAG 2.2 AA success criterion, including colour contrast measured against the standard
- manual testing in Google Chrome on macOS, covering keyboard only navigation, browser zoom to 400 per cent, the layout at 320 pixels wide, and the high contrast setting
